Strengthened safeguards to protect the integrity of public records since taking office in 2019.
Increased awareness and participation in the free Property Fraud Alert program.
Grew enrollment from 14,000 subscribers to more than 43,000 residents.

Leadership in Launching the Notary Fraud Alert Initiative
One of the first Recorders in the country to begin indexing notaries by name.
Allows quick record searches and improved assistance to law enforcement when fraud is suspected.
Practice adopted by many Recorders nationwide.
Vendor developed the first Notary Fraud Alert program based on this initiative.

Statewide Legislative Leadership & Advocacy
Served as Emerging Issues Chair and Legislative Co-Chair for the Recorders Association of Missouri.
Collaborated with fellow Recorders and state legislators on issues impacting property owners statewide.
Supported passage of the Judicial Privacy Act to better protect sensitive information.
Currently working with lawmakers to strengthen penalties for notary fraud.
Advancing improved protections for victims of property fraud.
Improving Local Record Accuracy & Accessibility
Focused on cleaning up legal descriptions to improve record accuracy.
Enhanced searchability for title companies, attorneys, surveyors, and residents.
Indexing historical records to preserve county history.
Expanding public access to important documents.
Digitization of 1807–1947 Marriage Licenses
Partnered with Ancestry to publish marriage licenses from 1807 to 1947 on a larger genealogical platform.
Expanded access for families researching their history while preserving local records.
Provides free Ancestry access in the research room to ensure citizens directly benefit from the partnership.
